Rumours are rife that TVB actress Tavia Yeung is taking the advantage of being one of the few senior female leads left in the company to ask for a hefty salary as part of the condition for her contract renewal.
As reported on On CC, the actress reportedly asked for her current pay to be increased twice the amount, now that the company is in shortage of experienced female stars, after losing stars such as Myolie Wu, Fala Chen, and Kate Tsui last year.
Sources reported that the two parties have already been in negotiation for half a year, and with her contract expiring soon, Tavia reportedly wouldn't budge from her demands.
While the top management allegedly weren't happy with her secret marriage to actor Him Law, the company is reportedly trying their best to get the actress to stay by adding more benefits in her contract.
This includes the opportunity for the actress to expand her career in mainland China under the TVB banner.
