10-year-old Neel Sethi, an American-Indian child artiste, will be seen essaying the role of feral child Mowgli in upcoming film The Jungle Book, which is based on a book written by Rudyard Kipling and while in India to present the film, Sethi shared a few details about his selection and training.
Sethi, who was signed up for the role after the makers auditioned around 2000 kids, revealed that he had to undergo training in Parkour and that many of the stunts that he is seen doing in the trailer, had been done by him. Sethi also added that apart from the very difficult scenes, which required a trained body double, he did most of his own stunts.
The Jungle Book is slated to release in India on April 8.
