Last year Caitlyn Jenner revealed that she is transgender and underwent gender-reassignment as she waved goodbye to ‘Bruce Jenner’ forever.
After speaking out about her identity in a heartfelt interview a year ago, Caitlyn appeared in a Keeping Up With The Kardashians special, 'About Bruce’, that showed the family reacting to the 66-year-old’s revelation in frank and candid chats caught on film.
Within the two-part special, Kourtney Kardashian admitted that she was worried about the impact Caitlyn’s transition would have on her and Scott Disick’s two eldest children, five-year-old Mason and three-year-old Penelope, as they already knew her as their grandpa Bruce.
However, Scott has now revealed exactly how the children’s first meetings with the star went, and admits that they handled it all really well.
Speaking on Caitlyn’s docu-series 'I Am Cait’, Scott explained: “I feel like Caitlyn has been so busy running around and traveling and bringing awareness. My kids don’t really know exactly what’s gone on. I don’t know if they’re old enough.
"My daughter has met her and was totally ok - didn’t really grasp exactly that that was grandpa, now it’s grandma. My son was a little nervous.”
And with Caitlyn joining the entire family for various holidays, including Thanksgiving last year, we have a feeling that all of the children in the Kardashian family have completely wrapped their heads around the whole situation by now.
