The nation went into a state of shock, when reports about their favourite television star Pratyusha Banerjee's sad demise surfaced, last night. She allegedly committed suicide however, cops are not ruling out the prospect of foul play.
Pratyusha was rushed to Kokilaben Hospital, in Andheri, when her boyfriend found her hanging from the ceiling of their Mumbai residence, on Friday, but she was declared dead on arrival. Her body has now been sent to Mumbai's Sidharth Hospital for post-mortem.
Some reports suggest that cops are suspecting foul play as Pratyusha's body had a faint rope mark on her neck. Her left cheek was bruised and she had blood coming out of her mouth. However, neither her eyes nor her tongue had popped out, which normally is the case when someone hangs themselves.
The cops have got a report on the actress' death from Kokilaben Ambani Hospital and they are now questioning her boyfriend Rahul Raj and her close pals. No suicide note was discovered by the police.
