Amy Schumer is back with another empowering message against body shaming.
The comedian posted a photo from her Hawaiian vacation with boyfriend Ben Hanisch, taken while Schumer went for a dip in the ocean wearing a one-piece bathing suit.
“I meant to write ‘good morning trolls!’ ” Schumer, 34, captioned the photo. “I hope you find some joy in your lives today in a human interaction and not just in writing unkind things to a stranger you’ve never met who triggers something in you that makes you feel powerless and alone.”
She ended her post with a body-positive message.
“This is how I look. I feel happy. I think I look strong and healthy and also like miss trunchbull from Matilda. Kisses!”
This isn’t the first time Schumer has taken to Instagram to stop body shaming. In April, she called out Glamour magazine for including her in their special “plus size” bonus issue, produced with Lane Bryant.
