‘Game of Thrones': Fans Cheer Jon Snow’s Return to the Wall

“Night falls, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death.” But what happens when death ends?

Jon Snow (Kit Harington) has come back from the dead in the new season of “Game of Thrones,” and fans took to social media to dissect the bad news he delivered to Melisandre in Sunday’s episode: He didn’t see the Lord of Light. In fact, he didn’t see anything at all. It doesn’t seem that there’s an afterlife waiting for the dead of Westeros.

While the rank and file of the Night’s Watch look at him like the apostles gazing upon the risen Christ, fans naturally made a bunch of jokes about seeing the Lord Commander in the buff.

ALL the naked women getting screwed or abused on #GOT and we don’t get a tiny peek at “Jon Snow” ‘s junk?? #hypocrisy people!

And now that Jon’s back, he’s ready to prove that a resurrected Stark is more scary than an army of White Walkers. He rounds up Alliser Thorne and all the conspirators involved in the mutiny that killed him and executes them in a manner similar to how his father executed traitors. Then he hands his cloak off and makes a bold mic drop declaration: “Now my watch has ended.”
