The 25-year-old Gone Girl star shared the totally starkers photo with her 9.1 million Instagram followers, showing her wearing nothing but a pair of gold hoop earrings.
The image, which was snapped from the side, possibly to avoid violating Instagram’s tight nudity clauses, shows the model with her arm across her breasts as she stares into the distance.
The moody snap was followed by a butt photo of the star with a sandy hand mark across her bare skin. Who's hand is that, Em?
In that pic, Emily is slightly less naked, dressed in a g-string that she also wore in a separate topless snap previously shared to social media.
Of course, going nude is nothing new for the model-turned-actress, who rose to prominence when she danced naked in Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ clip. In fact, she celebrates it.
Speaking to ES Magazine earlier this year, the model explained: “Like art, there’s a million ways to interpret it.
“All I can say is that when a woman is naked, that’s not immediately anti-feminist. I have no apologies for it, and I’m not ashamed at all.”
Back in March, the model defended Kim Kardashian, after Piers Morgan criticised one of the reality star’s naked selfies on Instagram.
“He was talking about the fact that Kim is 34 and a mother and that we’re overseeing her in a sexual light, which I had a lot of problems with,” she told the publication.
“There are lots of [criticisms] I can understand one might have about the Kardashians and reality TV, but even someone who you might be critical of is allowed to post a naked selfie if she wants to.”
At the time, the pair posed topless together in defiance.
