The nominations for the 68th edition of the BAFTA Awards, the biggest and most prestigious film awards outside America, were revealed in London's Piccadilly on Friday morning.
Eddie Redmayne received a nomination for best actor for playing Lili Elbe in The Danish Girl – making it two nominations in a row following on from his 2015 win for The Theory of Everything. He is up against Leonardo DiCaprio for his role as Hugh Glass in The Revenant as well as Bryan Cranston in Trumbo, Matt Damon in The Martian and Michael Fassbender for histitle role in Steve Jobs.
