Farhan Akhtar, who had remade Amitabh Bachchan's iconic film Don, a thriller about an international criminal and his lookalike, with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan playing the lead role, disclosed his reasons for remaking the film in an interview recently.
The multi-talented celeb, who has shared screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in Bejoy Nambiar's Wazir, revealed that he remade Don only because he was a big fan of the Big B and that working with Bachchan in Wazir led to many interesting and enriching conversations.
Farhan will be next seen in Rock On 2, which also stars Arjun Rampal, Shraddha Kapoor and others.
