Carrie Underwood, Sam Hunt to Collaborate on Grammy Awards

When the 58th annual Grammy Awards take place on February 15th, there will be at least three country performers who get to make some music onstage.

Among them are Carrie Underwood and Sam Hunt, who will perform together as part of a series of collaborations. Underwood’s current single “Heartbeat” features Hunt singing backing vocals, but there has been no confirmation what the pair will perform on the show. Hunt is nominated in the all-genre Best New Artist category as well as Best Country Album for Montevallo. Underwood has a single nomination in the Best Country Solo Performance category for “Little Toy Guns.” Other collaborations on the docket include Tori Kelly and James Bay, plus Ellie Goulding and Andra Day.

Previously, vocal quartet Little Big Town was named as one of the night’s performers, joining Kendrick Lamar, Justin Bieber, Pitbull, The Weeknd and Adele in the star-studded lineup. The group’s smash “Girl Crush” earned its writers nominations in the Song of the Year and Best Country Song categories, while the group snagged nominations for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Country Album for Pain Killer.
