The burlesque dancer wed the Beautiful People rocker in a lavish ceremony at Gurteen Castle, Ireland, in 2005 but they split just over a year later and now the 43-year-old star has admitted she had reservations about going through with the ceremony.
Speaking to Khloe Kardashian on her Kocktails With Khloe talk show, she said: “I was with him for seven years, we were married for only a year.
"I feel like getting married was sort of like the kiss of death for us because it was the nail in the coffin.

"I felt obliged to go through with the ceremony in a way because so much was riding on it, like Vogue was photographing it, and it was in this castle. I just thought, ‘Oh well.’ ”
While the couple’s split was acrimonious, Dita feels she can speak “fondly” about Marilyn now and even describes him as a pal.
She added: "He was super encouraging. He encouraged all of my eccentricities, and he made an album that was kind of burlesque-themed, and we made music videos together.
