Michelle Obama will not be pulling a Hillary Clinton.
The first lady was in Austin, Texas this week to speak at SXSW about her Let Girls Learn initiative -- to help the 62 million girls around the world go to and stay in school -- but also confirmed that she has no plans to run for office herself.
"I will not run for president, here's why," she told the crowd. "I have these two young people at home -- not so easy. There are so many ways to impact the world. You don't have to president to change things."
Still, Michelle says she has no plans to stop trying to change the world once President Barack Obama's second term ends.
"I don't plan on slowing down anytime soon," she said. "Sometimes there is much more that you can do outside the White House. My voice can now be heard by people who couldn't hear me before. We need good smart people with good morals to go into politics."
As for what FLOTUS will miss most when the first family moves out of the White House, her answer was unsurprisingly very sweet.
