After the success of "Pangako Sa 'Yo", fans of the love team of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will be happy to know that the two stars are set to star in an upcoming film under Star Cinema.
As reported on PEP News, the company announced the good news on 6 April during the appreciation lunch for "Pangako Sa 'Yo", saying that the two stars will be starring in a movie by director Olivia M. Lamasan.
The new movie will be filmed almost entirely in Barcelona, Spain, according to Bernardo, and that both she and Padilla will be taking up Spanish lessons in preparation for their roles.
She also expressed delight about working with Lamasan, who is also known as the creator of the original "Pangako Sa 'Yo", starring Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales.
"We are grateful that she accepted the project. I am really prepared for this film," Bernardo enthused.
Her enthusiasm was also shared by co-star Daniel Padilla, who hopes that the veteran director will guide them in the new project.
"I can't say that I am thoroughly ready, but I will do my best," he said.
