Katie Price Lands Equestrian-Focused Reality Show

Katie Price is bringing her love of all things equestrian to our TV screens in a new six-part reality series this summer.

‘Katie Price’s Pony Club’ will see the star creating a pony club team, with daughter Princess, son Junior and four of their closest friends.

The TLC programme will follow the six young novice horse riders and their competitive mums (think Dance Moms but with less dancing and more horses) as they explore the elitist world of pony clubs.

The team, based at Katie’s home, will take on a different form of riding (including drag hunt, show jumping, reining and dressage) each episode, before the series ends with the group competing in a high society game of polo.

Speaking about the show, Katie said: “I’ve not done a reality show for four years and I’m so excited to be doing this with TLC. This really is a dream come true.

“It brings together my biggest passions – my family, my friends and my animals. Expect a lot of pink, a lot of noise, much chaos and a fair few feathers ruffled along the way!”

Clare Laycock, VP, Head of TLC & Investigation Discovery, added: “This is a brilliant horsey romp that will reveal a fascinating, and previously unseen, side of Katie.

“Through her kids, friends and love of horses, the series brings a great reality peek into the extraordinary life of one of the country’s most popular and well-known personalities. This is a passionate project for Katie and we’re incredibly excited to add the original show to our summer line up.”

Richard Hastings, Creative Director of the show’s producer Shiver, said the show promises to be an ‘uproarious and exuberant TV event that will have us all rushing to don sparkly jodhpurs, pink riding hat and go for a gallop’.
