2PM made a new record in Japan

According to Japan’s Oricon Style on May 3, the group ranked first on Oricon Weekly Album Chart with its fifth Japanese album ‘Galaxy of 2PM’ that was released on April 27.

‘Galaxy of 2PM’ was sold about 95,871 copies. It went over the group’s record reaching 74,000 copies sold for its first album ‘Republic of 2PM’, which was released in November 2011.

Moreover, the group swept Japan’s music charts such as Billboard Japan, Tower Record Weekly Sales and others.

Meanwhile, 2PM surprised Japan as it gathered 650,000 viewers of Line TV live on May 2. (photo by JYP Entertainment)
