Controversial Hong Kong singer-actor Roy Chow has denied reports that he and girlfriend Cherie have called it quits.
As reported on HK01, rumours of their breakup sparked recently, after tabloids released screencaps of what was supposed to be an argument between the two of them via phone messages.
Roy, who attended the press conference of a new movie with Cherie recently, denied the rumours, and said that a lot of people have been trying to dig for information from his mother online by requesting for approval using Cherie's photo and name.
"We didn't have that conversation," said Roy, referring to the aforementioned messages. "It wasn't us."
To prove that their relationship is going strong, Roy put his arm around Cherie and stated, "Although sometimes she wouldn't listen to me, I am like her mentor because I am so much older. I really don't want to talk a lot about it, or people will use it against me."
