Come and follow in the footsteps of pageant beauties like Kiran Jassal, Vanessa Tevi, Sabrina Beneett and Carey Ng as the walk-in auditions for Miss Universe Malaysia 2017 will soon open with roadshows to be held across five states every weekend this coming June.
Open to all non-Muslim Malaysian females aged between 18 to 25 years with a minimum height of 168cm, the Miss Universe Malaysia Organization (MUMO) team will be travelling to five states across Malaysia including East Malaysia.
"Unlike previous years, the vision for MUMO moving forward is to create a social media driven pageant that empowers women in Malaysia to aspire to our core values of being hip, urban, relevant and real," said MUMO National Director, Elaine Daly.
"We want Malaysian girls who believe that she has what it takes and possess the confidence to impress us at the audition. It doesn't matter if she doesn't speak perfect English. As Malaysians, we all speak different dialects and languages. But what's important is that the candidate must be comfortable and confident," she continued.
Judges for the auditions will include Elaine Daly along with TVB actress cum former beauty queen Debbie Goh and actor-producer-director Hans Isaac.
The auditions will be held from 9am to 5pm at the following locations:-
4 June 2016 – G Hotel Kelawai, Penang
11 June 2016 – Horizon Hotel, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
12 June 2016 –The Old Courthouse, Kuching, Sarawak
