Love Island star Georgia Steel has finally seen the controversial footage of her kiss with Jack Fowler, and she has a lot to say about it.
Drama arose earlier in the series when Georgia took Jack on a date, and then claimed that he kissed her on the lips. Jack strongly denied being the aggressor, and was seemingly backed up by VAR.
The outrage over the kiss, and its impact on Jack's former girlfriend Laura Anderson, led to more than 500 complaints to broadcasting regulator Ofcom, but Georgia always maintained in the villa that she was a loyal friend to Laura.
Now that she's out of the villa for good and has properly seen the footage, how does Georgia feel? Well, quite frankly, she's gobsmacked.
"When I was on a date with Jack, I felt like the conversation was very flirtatious," she told Digital Spy and other media. "I have watched the clip back, and I'm very, very shocked, to be honest. It's not how I remember it at all."
She even conceded: "At the end of the day, there are things I can believe in. I made a little mistake. I'm only human. And yeah, I kissed him. It was only a kiss at the end of the day."
When we asked if she felt bad for Laura, Georgia admitted: "It takes two people to kiss. So, yeah."
Georgia and Sam Bird both left the villa during Thursday's episode at the climax of yet another unsettling recoupling ceremony.
