How Can They Seek a Charge of Rape and Murder Against Sooraj?: Aditya Pancholi

As we all know, the Jiah Khan Suicide case took a serious turn sometime ago when the prosecution stated that it wanted to press charges of rape and murder on upcoming actor Sooraj Pancholi. Reacting to these developments, Sooraj’s dad and veteran actor Aditya Pancholi recently said he was flabbergasted by these demands.

“How can the prosecution suddenly seek that a charge of rape and murder be framed against Sooraj Pancholi, when there no such allegation of rape was made all this while by anyone?” he stated.


Moreover, he stressed that his son’s only fault was to fall in love with a girl.

“My son’s only fault was to have fallen in love with a girl. He did no other wrong" he added

On a related note, Jiah Khan committed suicide in 2013. Shortly thereafter, her boyfriend Sooraj was taken into custody. At present, he is accused of abetment of suicide. On professional front, Sooraj made his Bollywood debut in 2015 when he starred in Hero.
