It's a Physically Challenging Role for Any Actor - Sanjay Dutt on Ranbir Doing his Biopic

Ever since Ranbir Kapoor has decided to step into Sanjay Dutt’s role for his biopic, he is leaving no stone unturned to get the nuances of the character right. From physical transformation to his walking style and the hair, RK is trying his best to get that look right. 

Now, according to a popular tabloid, Dutt, who will begin shooting for Siddharth Anand’s film by year end, followed by the Munnabhai franchise, is ‘most interested in the biopic’. 

The film, which is directed by Rajkumar Hirani, goes on-floors in October. Reveals Sanjay, “It will be a collaborative project between both our productions houses.


” Given that Sanjay won’t be acting in the biopic, he feels that it makes the job harder for Ranbir Kapoor. Quips Sanjay, “It will be a problem for him because he will need to grow his hair out, get really lean at first and then beef up. It’s a physically challenging role for any actor. Who said it was easy being me?

” A source close to the film, informs the daily, “The first sequences to be shot are from the 1990s, when Sanjay acted in films like Thaanedar, Saajan, Gumrah, Khalnayak, Aatish, Safari and Kartoos. After that they will go back by a decade to the '80s, which will focus more on his personal life. There won’t be any archival footage used though.
